This is my cluttered unproductive little slice of hidden heaven. It’s located in my garage where I repair, test, build anything and everything I possibly can from headphones and DVD players to constructing stereo amplifiers and electrical systems for people around the neighborhood and give back to my community! I also utilize this space to keep my sanity. Approximately 30 months ago I was informed that my ex was moving to Wisconsin and taking my 6 year old daughter with her because she doesn’t like Colorado. she went through the entire court process to obtain full custody and I had to go from seeing my daughter every day to now it’s been two years that I haven’t seen her. Then to make things worse March 19th, 2020 my wife was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and given maybe 5 more years to live. So my workbench is the place I can just try not to be down constantly. For me I enjoy the diagnostic and test of items. It gives a euphoric enlightenment like some type of electronic whisperers. I also bond with my son teaching him some of the many things I’ve learned throughout my years and gives him a way to not think about his mother’s condition constantly. If given the proper tools I will be more efficient. I could spend less time trying to figure out how to make what is needed to diagnose and repair a plethora of items for people, and give back to my community even further to make sure the older generation knows that some of us are thankful to have them around, and will continue to do all I can to help them transition into the digital age which can be a daunting task in itself!
